Curt dont worry about ever playing fo rthe Yankees, no one that chears for the Yankees woud ever want to see you in our uniform it would be an insult to our team to bring in a washed up pitcher, who thinks he has the right to comment on everyone else in the world. Your a joke Mitch Williams should kick your ass.

Curt - You are an amazing human being not wasting life by giving so much back. ALS - my dad and uncle passed away from ALS and I am aware of what that means for me. To make it worse, I served in Operation Desert Storm. I read your statements about Bonds and the others concerning steroids. Politically correct people are making us weak as a nation, as a culture. If you have the "honor" to sit before congress, respect them and all those who served before them. We live in the greatest nation in the history of man. NEVER disrespect that. Thank you Sir for all that you do!

Curt-My name is Christopher Bergmann and I am the Guitarist/Vocalist for the Vermont Prog band Spectris-We are in the process of organizing an ALS fundraising concert in Claremont NH in memory of Dr. Stephen Meersman, a local surgeon who passed away earlier this year of ALS, leaving a wife and three young children. Although I'm sure you get many requests to be involved in these things, I am hoping that you might find the time to assist in any way you can. Please contact me through the band's myspace page if you can in any way contribute (M.C.ing the event came to mind....). Obviously this cause is as important to you as it is to me and anything you can do would be deeply appreciated. The show will take place in November or December, and the venue has still to be determined, although the Claremont Opera House has been contacted.
Thanks for your time!

Hi Curt! Looking forward to seeing you back on the mound soon. Just a couple of questions. Last night I was amazed that none of the umpires saw Drew's home run off the top of the wall. One I could see, but not all four. What exactly are umpires supposed to be looking at out there? And, do you think they go back and watch the tape after the game and see their mistakes? Does it seem like there are more bad calls being made this year than usual?

Curt, we love you, Big Guy. And we can't wait to support 38 Studios, bay-bee!!!

I think your arm angle on your splitter is a bit off, perhaps leading to the shoulder discomfort you encountered. In my over 30 league, I am something of a medical marvel, pitching 2x as many innings as the younger guys even though I am over 40.

Got my tickets already for Saturday's game in Pawtucket, see you there!! If there is a good thing about being on the DL and having rehab starts this is it, having the opportunity to see players up close and personal in Pawtucket, too bad you will be busy pitching. ...... just kidding Good Luck!

It seems to me the umps have made some bad call at first base in the last few games. Two went agains us and one helped us(although we werent able to score). I know you cant do anyhting about it at the time but is there anything teams can do behind the scenes to complain? I mean they really stopped a good rally last night calling Pedroia out at first when he was safe! Why dose it seem there are so many bad calls? Are the umps that bad or does it just seem that way when you are losing? Just curious.
